Terms & Conditions

1.  Yamaha Music (Asia) Private Limited (hereinafter called YMA), undertakes the warranty of the mentioned product for the period 
    enumerated under "Warranty Term" from the date of purchase against any defective workmanship and / or materials.

2.  This warranty does not cover the following :-

    a) Breakdown or damage due to in transit packing and shipment handled by the customer / carrier / transport agent.
    b) Normal wear and tear due to normal operational adjustments, battery replacement or normal maintenance damage.
    c) Deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, perspiration, corrosive atmosphere, exposure 
       to extreme heat, cold and dampness, improper use, storage, warehousing, maintenance, mishandling, Acts of God and Acts of
       Government. For Piano product, warranty will be rendered null and void if the heater is not switched on continually.
    d) Defects or damages resulting from repair or attempted repair by anyone other than YMA or an authorized YMA servicing agent.
    e) Improper installation or operation or failure to follow instructions according to the owner's manual.
    f) Products on which the serial number has been detached, altered, obliterated, modified, removed, defaced, or parallel imported.
    g) Signal reception problems, usuage of wrong electrical supply / voltage, power line surge or related electrical abnormalities,
       lightning damage or acts of God; RF/EMI (interference/noise) caused by improper grounding or improper use of either certified
       or uncertified equipment.
    h) Accessories such as antenna, AC adapters, batteries, cables, connectors, microphones, remote controls, heaters, etc supplied with
       the product.
    i) Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof-of purchase documents.	   
3.  In the event if product is beyond repair, YMA may elect to replace the product with its equivalent. Customer will be responsible
    for any removal or re-stallation of application and configuration.

4.  Customer is responsible for bringing the product to the Service Centre and for collecting them on completion of service or repair.
    Deliveries by YMA can be arranged and all labor and transport charges, together with any repair chargers, are to be paid fully by
    customers upon delivery of the products by YMA to the customer, unless, otherwise stated.

5.  All products sent in for servicing must be collected within three (3) months of notification by YMA, falling which YMA shall
    have the right to sell the product and recover any costs incurred, including but not limited to storage charges.

6.  YMA will use the details you provide to administer your warranty.

7.  From time to time, YMA would also like to keep you informed by post, telephone or email about other YMA products and services that
    may be of interest to you.

8.  If you hany any questions about YMA's use of your information, or you wish to let us know about changes to your personal details 
    held by us, or if at any time you wish to stop receiving marketing information from us, please send us your feedback at Contact us.
9.  Any provision of this warranty prohibited by applicable law or by court decree will be ineffective to the extent of such prohibition,
    but such provision will not in any way invalidate or affect the remaining provisions of this warranty.

10. Online warranty registration will entitle the Customer an additional 3 months of coverage free.

This warranty is only valid in Singapore and to the original end-user purchaser and shall not be transferable or assignable to any
third party.

The decision of YMA on all issues relating to defects, workmanship or materials with respect to products sold by YMA shall be final and
conclusive and the Customer hereby agrees to abide by YMA decision.
